Channel
Sales / Marketing Representative:
The
successful candidate must be self motivated and dependable, enjoy
talking on the phone, and require minimal supervision and direction.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform his/her job
with skill, accuracy on all assignments, utilizing outbound telephone
calls, fax, and email as communication tools. ATTENTION TO
DETAIL IS A MUST!
This
Position will be primarily responsible for selling company products
and services through reseller channels in assigned territory.
This hybrid In-side Sales / Marketing role is responsible for
maintaining existing customer relationships and developing, soliciting
and closing new accounts. Key duties will include:

Representing
the company in all activities associated with reseller channel
support.

Generating
sales quotations and handling customer inquiries.

Closingbusiness
via the telephone and e-mail.

Working
with End User sales personnel to identify channel sales opportunities.

Seeking
new accounts through telephone sales calls, direct marketing
and referrals.

Maintaining
relationships and favorable contacts with current and prospect
accounts.

Setting-up
new account information and resolving customer issues/problems.

Providing
customer service/support regarding company products and services.

Collecting
and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential product
and service markets.

Identifying
and monitoring competition. Researching market conditions
or changes which may affect sales.
Candidate
should have excellent telephone communication skills, a background
selling on the internet, and must have knowledge of commonly used
sales/marketing concepts, practices and procedures. Will be expected
to use experience, creativity and good judgment to plan and accomplish
goals. Four-year degree and minimum of two years of related sales/marketing
experience is required.
Previous sales experience with commissioned
sales preferred; strong cold calling experience and the ability
to close deals over the phone; familiarity with technical products
is helpful. Prior inside sales experience and strong customer
service skills are required.
Strong PC knowledge and the ability to multi-task
and work under deadlines is a must. Experience using ACT or other
Sales Automation tool is desired.
Compensation:
Base salary, plus commission (depending upon experience)
